Sam’s Covers was founded in 2012 by Sam Sanchez, when she was only 12 years old.
Sam’s Covers is a 503(c) non-profit organization that seeks to let the children in the shelters, transition homes of San Antonio and beyond know people care. We provide fleece blankets to all children in and beyond San Antonio who are in need. We believe blankets provide kids a sense of comfort.
Compassionate, caring kids, donate their time to make and distribute the blankets to the children in need.
To date we have made and donated over 2,000 blankets!
